Join Lancaster's Museum of Art and History (MOAH) and the Lancaster Museum and Public Art Foundation (LMPAF) for an evening of fun for this year's Sunset Soirée at the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve Pavilion on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM! This fundraising event will celebrate arts and culture with live music, poetry readings by local high school students, food, and an open bar supporting each of the City of Lancaster’s museums. The Sunset Soirée's designated dining area will take place outdoors, under the open-air pavilion. The evening’s honoree will be Councilmember Darrell Dorris for his constant support of the arts and cultures in the Antelope Valley.
Tables start at $300 and will be sold in increments of either four or eight people. Individual tickets are also available for $80. This event is a perfect opportunity for friends and family to come together for a lively evening! Funds generated through this event go directly to various community programs, like Young Artist Workshops and Discover Trunks, along with supporting artistic and cultural development in the Antelope Valley.
The Prime Desert Woodland Preserve and the Elyze Clifford Interpretive Center offer the community immersive and educational opportunities encompassing the Mojave Desert's natural landscape. Programming, redesigned and delivered by MOAH, includes nature presentations and tours, free kid's crafts, and community events.
