The Lancaster Museum of Art and History's Arts for Youth program, directed toward K-12 students across the Antelope Valley and outlying areas, offers students the opportunity to learn about historical and contemporary art practices through field trips to MOAH’s year-round rotating exhibitions.

The Arts for Youth program revolves around docent-led tours that take students through current exhibitions and provide insightful commentary on the exhibited artists and artworks. In addition, discussions tackle questions such as ‘what is art?’, ‘how does it affect our society?’ and ‘what is its function in our community?’  Students will be engaged in discussion, introduced to significant southern California artwork and encouraged to interact with the space through social media tools.
